FORMWORK Sign in
Construction management · owner's representative

The cost model is yours to shape.

Most construction software decides in advance what an item is, which fields it carries and who approves it. Formwork doesn't. You define the items, the fields, the roll-ups and the approval steps — then push them into every project as a template.

What it holds

Money that adds up, from budget to sub payment

Every figure is a roll-up of the level beneath it, so a change anywhere is a change everywhere — no spreadsheet re-keying, and no two versions of the truth.

Budget Main contract Schedule of values Billing periods Payments
Subcontracts Sub SOV Sub change orders Sub payments

The two sides stay separate on purpose. Subcontract value rolls to the subcontract, never into the budget — because counting it twice is the oldest way to lose a job's numbers.

How work moves

Approvals with a role on every step

Workflow

Steps that belong to someone

Each step names the role that holds it and the fields it may edit. Nobody edits a figure that isn't theirs at a stage that isn't theirs.

Return & void

Documents that can die honestly

Send it back to any earlier step with a mandatory note, or void it outright. A dead document with no stated reason is what everyone argues about later.

Record

Every move is kept

Who moved it, from which step to which, when, and what they said. The trail is the point, not a by-product.

Why it's different

A template, not a straitjacket

Build your standard once — items, fields, computed roll-ups, views, roles and workflows — then push it into each project. Pushes are additive and never overwrite what a project has changed locally.
